Our Mission

To teach youth K-8th grade the lessons of entrepreneurship.  On one day 100′s of youth in the community will come together on the Bricks in Downtown Kearney to run their first business…their own lemonade stand.  Small business leaders in the community will work with youth to teach them how to raise funds, generate profits and give back to our community through charitable donations.

This will teach the youth about life skills about how to follow their “American Dream”.  Each youth will partner with an adult sponsor (chosen by the youth) and a business sponsor (assigned to the youth by Main Street Kearney).  The business sponsor will mentor the youth and become their initial investor and provide them with “start up” monies for their stand.
